New To HoopSisters? Here's What You Need To Know...
HoopSisters on 7th Aug 2024
Here at HoopSisters we value one-of-a-kind quilt-in-the-hoop designs, and we offer a unique approach to all our designs - the quilting is included for every design we offer. No need to search for the services of a longarm quilter or purchase separate quilting files, because with HoopSisters designs, every step is done right in the hoop of your embroidery machine.
There are many files included with our designs, let’s dive into some you might find…
1) Multi-formatted Embroidery files that all INCLUDE the unique quilting created specifically for the design you are creating.
These files include every step you need to complete the blocks exactly as you see in a HoopSisters sample. Placement stitching, tack down stitching, satin stitching and quilting. This really is what makes HoopSisters unique!
Often, quilt-in-the-hoop designers choose not to include the quilting along with the embroidery files. This leaves you with the choice of purchasing a separate quilting file that is not unique to the design or to use the services of a longarm quilter. While both still result in a beautiful quilt, we believe that each design deserves it’s own set of unique quilting, designed and digitized specifically for the quilt!
2) Step-by-Step Instructions
Want fabulous instructions? We provide step-by-step instructions, whether it’s a design you snag for free OR our heirloom quilts. Each step indicates exactly what fabric and thread to use as well as includes a picture of the digitized step of your block.
3) Fabric and Thread Key or Supply Chart
The Fabric and Thread Key dives deep into the exact materials you need to complete the design (fabric yardage, threads and tools to have on hand). This serves as the ultimate prep guide for the quilt you’re about to make!
Whether you’re new to quilt-in-the-hoop or have been creating designs for years, we at HoopSisters hope you enjoy the process and feel empowered to create a work of art using our designs and the hoop of your embroidery machine!
